Study: Human-AI Spoken Interaction (LanguageBand)

What you will be asked to do

You will complete up to three interview rounds with an AI interviewer. Each round includes several spoken questions.

Your voice will be recorded and transcribed for research purposes.

Confidentiality

All data are stored securely and de-identified. Your responses will be used for research only.

We will not share identifiable information with anyone outside the research team.

Data Use

We collect your email verification record, consent status, microphone audio, transcript, interview events, ratings, and system timing logs for this research study.

The data are used to evaluate AI interviewer behavior, interaction quality, latency, and research system reliability.

Third-Party Model APIs

Audio, transcript, and interview context may be transmitted to configured third-party model APIs for speech recognition, response generation, speech synthesis, and evaluation.

Do not provide private, medical, legal, financial, psychological diagnosis, or other highly sensitive information during the interview.

Retention and Deletion

Study records are retained for up to 24 months after collection unless a longer period is required for audit, publication review, or legal compliance.

To request deletion or withdrawal of your data, email userservice@langband.cn with the email address used for verification.

Voluntary Participation

Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without penalty.

You may skip any question or stop the interview at any point.

The study result will not be used for real admission, employment, hiring, or candidate selection decisions.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
• Use a quiet environment and a working microphone
• Stable internet connection (HTTPS required)
